Day 138: The Most Beautiful Road that I Have Ever Drove On

Date: 17 JAN 2009

Leaving Alta(Norway), we will be driving to Kiruna(Sweden) today. To get there, we will have to drive through 2 borders, first back into Finland and then into Sweden. A long drive it might sounds, but let me tell you something, this is the most beautiful and out of the world road that I had ever drove on. The northern coast of Norway was indeed legendary.

First of all, it was like driving back into Ice Age. Everything was frozen. Secondly, there were not many life forms around and so it seems like we have drove to the end of the world. Thirdly, there were only 3 colours visible throughout the whole drive. White, blue and black. I felt a sense of tranquility here. So peaceful, so quiet.

No words can ever describe how beautiful it is but since a picture is worth a thousand words, I shall now flood with you pictures as it will better depicts what I saw.
