Day 209: Sunday Fun
Date: 29 MARCH 2009
Despite a late night party, Sabrina and her friends still met up for a sunday brunch at a posh restaurant. Clayton and I went along. A plate of sandwich like this cost almost close to $30(if I had not remember wrongly)!! And thats probably the most expensive sandwich I have ever had in my life.
After which, Sabrina brought us around Brussels. First to a church.
Then it was out to a sunny sunday!!
Vandalism is everywhere in Brussels. As as matter of fact, it is the worse I had ever seen so far throughout my travels. Even the monuments were vandalised. Sad case.
Clayton and I doing stupid things on the streets. Hahaha...
Sabrina was too shy to take stupid photos. :)
We then went to another church but was denied entry as there is a private concert on going. So we ended up taking photos outside the church.
And we rested there for awhile as well. These nice seats in the garden of the church make it a very cosy place to rest our feet!!
Well, vandalism is a bad thing but it does shows one's creativity at time. Check out this road crossing sign.
And this road work sign.. Interesting and innovative ya? It became a graveyard work site. Haha!!
A spiderweb of tram's cable!
The European Union Building, home of the European Union.
Another nice place.
Time for my signature shot!!
That night, to thank Sabrina to hosting us, Clayton baked her an apple crumble. S is not for Superman, S is for Sabrina!!
