Day 222 & 223: Delft
Date: 11 April 2009
It was a lovely weekend and we all decided to do things the Dutch way - to go out on bicycles. And so everyone, including the cute baby girl, cycled 10km to this town called Delft. Well, the baby girl went on tow, ofcourse. On the way, we passed by greenhouses and farms.
Delft is a pleasent town. It has many canals running throughout the city, just like Amsterdam minus away the red light district.
After spending a day in Delft, we cycled the same distance back to Maarten's place and then all of us excluding the baby, joined hands in preparing an Indian dinner under the supervision of Chef Maarten. :) It was fun.

Easter Day!!
We started off the day with a tradition Easter day games for kids, to search for chocolate eggs hidden around the house, followed by the making of some Dutch pancakes for breakfast. :) Though we are no longer kids, we still enjoyed the game. :)
Today will be my last day in Netherlands. I will be leaving for Germany tomorrow. So its time to take group photos.
Well, I am really glad that I came and pay them a visit. It was indeed very nice to catch up with them. Though they had already settled down, the travel spirit still lives with them. I really look up to them and I wish I can be like them. To be honest, I think they are the one who sparked off and inspired the nomad me!!!!
Maarten, Isle and Lilou, if you are reading this, my best wishes to you. May only the best things bestow upon you. :)
