Cambodia trouble - Part 2(Tyres)
Here is the part 2 of the cambodia trouble. The same guy is on the same bike on another day.
He was riding 50km/hr at max rev on the bike. Suddenly he heard a very loud bang and his bike was dancing like in a disco. It is then he realise that his rear tyre has blown off. It was a very serious blow, such that 1/2 of the inner tube was gone.
Once again, he was in the middle of nowhere, Bokheo is 20km east and Banluy is 20km/west. There is nothing he can do can so he decided to cut out the whole inner tube and just ride slowly on the rim. However, to his surprise, a few farmers nearby came up to him, gave him cottons and started to help him stuff the cottons into the tyre. YES, they wanted him to run on cotton instead of air. Well he has no choice but to give it a try.
Started the engine, open te throttle and release the clutch. HAHAHA... and the bike did move. and so he wobble his way back to town on cotton.
Possible? I think it is although I have never try it before and I do not wish to be in such a situation. Anyway it is just a true life story which I read from a book. So do u think it is possible??
